If your business isn’t blogging yet, you’re missing out. A blog can dramatically help your business attract new customers, here are some of the many reasons you might want to consider investing in a blog for your business

If your company’s blog contains well-written, insightful content, internet users will be more likely to think highly of your company and consider your company a leader in its field, every time you write a blog post that includes a few relevant keywords, you’re increasing your chances of people being able to find your company on search engines. Blogs usually fare pretty well on search engines like Google because they’re updated regularly, and Google definitely prefers dynamic websites to static ones

A blog is one of the best ways to update customers on new products or services being offered. You can also respond to customer inquiries quickly and more efficiently, and you can gain valuable feedback from your readership while using that feedback to make improvements and build a better business, as well as business relationships, with your client base, consumers will read your blog posts, and they might comment on them or tweet about them. When you reply, they’ll feel more connected to your business, and they’ll be more likely to use their hard-earned money to pay for the goods and/or services you’re offering.

In-house staff communication just got much easier. A blog differs from email in that a permanent record of posts is maintained by category. All employees receive the same information at the same time.

Every business needs a voice, and a blog is a simple way to do that. A blog can help manage your online reputation and give your business the voice and authority it needs to thrive

Cutting back on your print, radio, and TV advertising efforts and putting more emphasis on online marketing strategies can save you a lot of money.

Remarketing is a powerful way to stay engaged with your target audience. Presenting them with highly relevant ads and offers across the Web — and making sure your brand is top of mind when they’re ready to buy

When you use remarketing, you’ll tag pages of your site that correspond to certain categories you want to promote. For example, you could add a “TV” tag on all of the pages where you sell televisions. You can then create an Ad Words campaign to show highly relevant messages (such as ads displaying a special offer on TVs) to people who’ve visited these pages as they browse sites through the Google search engine.

Remarketing is a feature that lets you reach people who have previously visited your site, and show them relevant ads across the web or when they search on Google. When people leave your site without buying anything, for example, remarketing helps you connect with these potential customers again. You can even show them a tailored message or offer that will encourage them to return to your site and complete a purchase.

Whether you’re looking to drive sales activity on your site, increase registrations, or promote awareness of your brand, remarketing can be a strategic component of every campaign. It can drive return on investment for all types of advertisers.

There are a wide range of remarketing options available for eCommerce websites, including banner advertisements and pop-up chat windows like the ones that pop up when you’re trying to watch movies online. With remarketing, you have different options; prevent the user from leaving the site in the first place; or try and get them back to the site once they’ve left. Chat windows, are designed to “pop up” when a user, who has already entered the checkout process, attempts to leave the site. The only downside to these pop up chat windows is that some people do find them irritating which may put them off returning to the site in future.

snap logo

Here is a short video clip that gives you an insight into what Snapchat actually does.

Snapchat, which was recently valued at $860 million as reported by Forbes, they should be the next photo-sharing app PR and marketing professionals download and become familiar with. They should be keeping a close eye on the Snapchat app and be prepared to think about strategically using this new vehicle to engage consumers.

One of the main differences between Snapchat and other photo-sharing apps is that photos vanish or “self-destruct” once they are viewed by the receiver. Snapchat allows users to take a picture or video, alter the image by applying text or drawings to the image before sending it to a controlled list of recipients. The stress of having embarrassing or silly photos on a social platform seemingly disappears; this sets them apart from the rest. In the case of texting, Whatsapp, Viber, etc.. all messages are saved and we delete what we don’t like or don’t want to see again. Snapchat on the other hand encourages users to save only what they want to keep.

Snapchat users age varies from 18 to 25 years old because most people on snap chat there in that age bracket, which is an opportunity for businesses to capitalize on it because it’s really hard to gain the attention of that age bracket.

The search box in Facebook can be a powerful tool that can be used to quickly find any current friends or people on Facebook. In addition searching for terms such as a company name, product, sports team, music band, etc. Every time I’m searching for something or someone on Facebook I really appreciate the search engine because it enables me to find anything but when you can’t find a friend it’s probably because they’ve blocked you from their page or they’ve changed their name
